Pashto and Dari Languages learning Classes
Afghan American Cultural Association is honored and proud for launching Pashto and Dari Languages classes, for the first time in Washington State.
AACA’s Education Committee with support from No One Left Behind (NOLB) started Pashto and Dari languages learning classes on September 15, 2019 for Afghan immigrants and refugees especially for SIV's.
One of the main goals of AACA is, to preserve Afghan Languages (Pashto & Dari), and transferred them to the future generation of Afghan American.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic the Pashto and Dari languages classes are close until further notice.



Driving Education Courses for Afghan Women
AACA received multiple requests from Afghan SIV’s families to have a driving course and to teach driving rules and skills for Afghan women, so they become active members of their families; AACA and NOLB successfully facilitated driving courses for Afghan women funded by Kent Regional Library that started on August 4, 2019. Afghan women learned Washington traffic rules and practical driving for several weeks.
